Why do we set up containment for Mold

The trick with mold is making sure the spores do not spread into the uncontaminated areas of the home. SERVPRO of Laguna Beach can assure this by building a containment around the visible mold in your home. Containing the mold is vital since the spores use air flow to migrate from one place to another. Removing the mold stirs up a lot of airflow creating a lot of cross contamination.
Containment is built around the mold to keep the spores from getting outside the work area. However, we go one step further at SERVPRO and add a HEPA Air Filtration Device inside the containment to create a negative pressure. This removes the particles from the air all together.
