When Choosing A Mold Company

If your home has mold and you want to hire a professional to handle the task of removing it, it can be daunting trying to choose a company to hire. It is especially tough due to the fact that there are constantly new restoration companies popping up all over the place.

A couple things to keep in mind though are certification and experience.

The standard for mold removal has been set by the insurance industry. That standard is the IICRC. Make sure that the company you are looking at is IICRC certified.

Also, a company that is experienced should be able to return your call within an hour, be onsite in 4 hours, and update an adjuster within 8 hours. If they can't do that, they may not be experienced enough.
